R.I.P. Jon D. Melander, Sr.

I was informed within the past hour that my father, Jon D. Melander Sr., was found dead in his home by police doing a welfare check.  According to the Maricopa County, Arizona coroner, he suffered a massive coronary.
While I'm sad he is dead, the sadder truth is that dead, he's no more distant to me than he was when he was alive.
May he find the peace in his next life that he never found in this one.
